A feeling of Greatness

A feeling of Greatness

The paramount emotion in the world comes not from acquiring offerings. Relatively, it twitches when you hand a cup of hot coffee to that aged man deskbound on the side of the street pleading for money. You feel it after you drive an hour and a half to the hospital to meet children suffering from cancer, and you sense it when you sit down with your friend to comfort him or her when they have lost an exceptional one. Aiding others can be the most gratifying sentiment in the memory.

My friend convinced me to join a group, where people from a different framework come for one purpose that is to give their best possible service. After helping an old man who could not walk, made me think what is greatest feeling? After he saying, “Wish, I had a son like you” in front of his son.

I was in sanatorium one day; to visit my neighbour suffering by a heart problem, in three days of my visit made me think a lot, why parents love their kids? There was an old man sleeping next to my neighbour’s bed, and no one visited him, he was just stirring his old days to finish fast. One day a kid visit him with some fruits calling him grand paa. I was totally shocked, knowing that his son and daughter in law are waiting for the kid in the car park. At that moment, I had a lot of question in my mind, why they did not visit him? Does he not deserve to be cared and loved? I did not get an answer to my question. But my heart said forgiveness is the biggest gift you can give to other when they truly in need of it. Every soul needs to be cared and loved, so it is perpetually good to share love and absolution.

Auckland is a city where you can find splendid talents in streets exhibiting their art. Most of the time when I walked on Queen Street I saw an old couple playing musical instrument. The music was pleasant, and though it’s the same music I listen when I pass them daily, it always makes me stand for a moment and listen to it. The reason behind their effort to please people’s heart is only to get few coins so they can push their days with some food and clothes to save themselves from winter. Helping then with all the possible ways gives you a feeling, a sentiment of immensity.
